Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older
• You must be a currently enrolled student at one of our supported U.S. West Coast colleges
• You must use a valid .edu email address from a supported school

Community standards

By using Apeat, you agree to:

• Treat all other members with respect
• Show up to dinners you commit to (no-shows result in reputation penalties)
• Not share other members' information outside Apeat
• Not use Apeat for commercial recruiting, dating-app behavior, or harassment

Reservations

• Apeat's operations team books restaurants on your behalf as a courtesy
• You are responsible for your share of the restaurant bill
• Cancellations affect your reputation score per our cancellation policy

Account suspension

We may suspend accounts for:

• Repeated no-shows
• Harassment or inappropriate behavior reported by other members
• Fraudulent verification or profile information
• Violations of these terms

Limitations of liability

Apeat is a coordination tool. We don't guarantee:

• Specific dining experiences
• Safety of in-person meetings (we provide verification but real-world meetings carry inherent risk)
• Restaurant quality or availability

You acknowledge that meeting strangers in person, even verified ones, involves personal judgment and responsibility.
